An elderly Sacramento couple, Oliver and Patsy Davis, were scammed by an unlicensed contractor for $181,000.
Their home renovation project, which was to be their dream come true, suddenly became their worst nightmare. Since their accounts were drained and their job was abandoned last October, they have been left with nothing. Code enforcement violations have been imposed and fines are accruing daily. We are appealing to the community and to construction industry professionals for help.
We have assembled a committee with hopes of gathering enough material and labor donations from sub contractors, material suppliers, and manufacturers to complete this project at no cost to the owners.
A retired minister and a retired school teacher,
